Strauss\, Schoenberg\, Barber\, Wolf\, Satie and Grieg – you won’t want to miss it! \nLovers’ capriciousness\, faeries on the wing\, a child’s precociousness – they all may change direction like smoke in the wind. This is the whimsical world of dreams. The “Luftschloss” (Castle in the Air) program was conceived with this notion in mind. Sometimes wistful\, sometimes comic\, at other times almost desparate\, the pieces themselves conjure images of dreams and fanciful circumstances. Additionally\, the nature of each set is very different from the others – a continual shifting from one reflection to the next\, as our whims so often do. \n
